The Best Thing I Ate This Week: May 21

(Where I share the best thing I ate in the previous week)

Week 2 of eating my way through Seattle! I love this city and am finding so many new things to try. This week, after work, I trekked down to Pioneer Square and stopped at Salumi, a family-owned cured meat shop that sells the most amazing sandwiches. And it the kindest owners!

Repeat after me: porchetta. Porchetta. Porchetta.

It’s essentially spice-braised pork and it’s….magical. Yep, that’s about the only word that describes it. The pulled pork is heaped on delicious giuseppe bread with onions and green peppers. NO I DIDN’T LICK THE PLATE!!! (yes I did)

This is absolutely, 100% a MUST-STOP spot in Seattle for a delicious bite.
